These terms apply to the use of the Australian Privacy Network website, public resources and any features made available through it.
Some professional services, products or partner services may have additional terms. Where additional terms apply, they should be provided before the relevant service is accepted or purchased.
Informational resources and guided pathways
The resource directory and guided pathways are provided for general information. Listings point to government bodies, support organisations and third-party tools; availability and accuracy can change, and information should be confirmed with the relevant service.
External websites
We link to external services we consider helpful. Those providers control their own products, pricing, security and legal obligations. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Professional services
Where you engage a professional service through APN, it may be subject to service-specific terms provided at the time. Professional services do not guarantee outcomes that are controlled by third parties.
Scanners and exposure results
Where a scanner or exposure check is offered, it provides general information based on the sources available to it and may not identify every exposure. Results are a starting point for action, not a complete or guaranteed assessment.
Demonstration tools, verification and receipts
Some tools are provided as demonstrations and are labelled as such. Where APN issues a receipt for completed work, that receipt records the action APN took. It does not claim that information has been removed from every external system, backup or copy.
Job and partner listings
Job listings and partner listings are provided for information. Inclusion is not an endorsement, and any arrangement entered into with a third party is between you and that party.
Accounts
Where an account is offered, keep your login details secure, take responsibility for activity under your account, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the site, attempt to breach its security, or use it for unlawful activity. We may suspend access where these terms are breached.
Intellectual property
Content and branding belong to Australian Data Removal Pty Ltd unless stated otherwise.
Availability and changes
We aim for accuracy and availability but do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted use. We may update the site, its features and these terms from time to time.
Fees and refunds
The public resource directory is free to use. Where a paid service is offered, prices are in AUD and include GST where applicable, and any refund terms are provided with that service. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and without limiting your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the site is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes a consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Information on this site is general and is not legal advice. For advice specific to your circumstances, engage an appropriately qualified practitioner.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
